Eden VTC Private driver · Strasbourg

Terms & conditions

Last updated: October 2026 · This English version is provided for information; the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern the use of the Eden VTC website and the passenger transport services provided by Eden VTC, a licensed chauffeur-driven vehicle (VTC) company based near Strasbourg. Any use of the website or booking of a journey implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Website terms of use

Use of the website implies acceptance of these terms. Eden VTC reserves the right to modify them at any time without notice; users are invited to consult them regularly. Use of the website does not confer any rights over its content.

The information presented (services, destinations, indicative journey times) is provided for information only and does not constitute a contractual offer. Only the quote confirmed by Eden VTC is binding.

3. Intellectual property and links

The texts, photographs, logos and graphic elements of the website are protected. Only private use is permitted; any other reproduction or distribution requires the prior written consent of Eden VTC (article L.122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code). Links to the website are permitted, except from websites publishing illegal, violent, xenophobic or offensive content.

4. Booking

Services are provided by advance booking only, in accordance with French VTC regulations. Requests can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email or via the website form. The booking is confirmed once Eden VTC has confirmed the journey and its price to the customer.

The customer provides accurate information: addresses, date and time, number of passengers and pieces of luggage, flight or train number, need for child seats.

5. Price

The price is set in advance and communicated before confirmation. It is a fixed price and does not vary with traffic. It may only be changed following a change requested by the customer (additional stop, detour, extended waiting time, change of time or route).

6. Waiting time and delays

For airport or train station pick-ups, Eden VTC tracks the arrival time of the flight or train and adjusts the pick-up accordingly. Beyond the waiting time included in the quote, additional waiting time may be charged at the rate communicated to the customer.

If the customer is late at a pick-up address, the driver will wait within the agreed limit; beyond that, the journey may be considered a no-show.

7. Cancellation and changes

Any cancellation or change must be reported as early as possible by phone or in writing. A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the pick-up time, or a customer no-show, may result in all or part of the journey being charged.

If Eden VTC is unable to provide the service (breakdown, force majeure), the customer is informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative solution; failing that, any sums paid are refunded in full.

8. Passengers, luggage and child seats

9. Payment

Payment is made according to the terms agreed at the time of booking (cash, bank card or bank transfer). An invoice is provided on request.

10. Liability

Eden VTC holds professional liability insurance covering passenger transport. Eden VTC cannot be held liable for delays due to circumstances beyond its control (exceptional traffic conditions, bad weather, accidents, road closures) or for the consequences of a delay caused by the customer. Items left in the vehicle remain the responsibility of their owner; Eden VTC will make every effort to return them.

11. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint must be sent in writing to elvistrufia@hotmail.com. In accordance with articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may refer the matter free of charge to the following consumer mediator, after first sending a written complaint to Eden VTC that has not been satisfactorily resolved:

La Médiation Professionnelle – Consumer mediator (Alteritae)
5 rue Salvaing, 12000 Rodez, France
Website: www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr – online request: request mediation

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Strasbourg.
